A high-key behavioural study of African Wild Dogs (Lycaon pictus). By deliberately overexposing the environmental context, the composition isolates the physical forms and spatial dynamics of these apex endurance predators within pure negative space. The panoramic format emphasises the physical separation between the subjects, rendering their forms as ethereal silhouettes. Acknowledging their endangered status, this reductionist approach carries a dual significance, capturing both the strict biomechanical reality of the pack and the vulnerable, fading presence of the species within the wider ecosystem.
