An intimate macro study exploring the complex structural biology of a marine micro-habitat. The composition focuses strictly on a soft coral stalk, isolating the vivid pigmentation and physical architecture of the polyps. Entwined around this central structure is a delicate epizoic invertebrate, perfectly adapted to navigate and exploit the topography of its host. The exceptionally shallow depth of field dissolves the surrounding reef into warm bokeh, isolating this specific biological relationship and highlighting the extreme morphological specialization required to occupy such a precise ecological niche.
