An environmental study of evaporation fog along the Norwegian coast, triggered by atmospheric temperatures plummeting to -20°C. The intense, low-angle sunlight heavily backlights the rapid condensation, creating the optical illusion of a burning sea. The composition captures the severe thermodynamic contrast between the freezing air mass and the comparatively warmer marine water, juxtaposing the volatile, fire-like vapour against the rigid, wind-sculpted textures of the frozen terrestrial foreground. Presented on Hahnemühle FineArt Baryta mounted to aluminium Dibond with a 6 mm natural oak floater frame.
